Ini adalah contoh RPP berbasis strategi Presentation-Practice-production yang dilatihkan dalam PLPG di Rayon 12 UNJ Yokyakarta. Thanks for Mr. Sumpana for the useful file.

Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran

Alokasi Waktu : 2 x 45 menit

1. Standar Kompetensi

1. Mengungkapkan makna dalam teks tulis fungsional pendek dan teks monolog/esei tulis sederhana secara akurat, lancar, dan berterima berbentuk narrative, descriptive dan news item dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari dan mengakses ilmu pengetahuan populer.

2. Kompetensi Dasar
1. Mengungkapkan makna dan langkah-langkah retorika secar akurat, lancar dan berterimamenggunakan ragam bahasa tulis dalam teks berbentuk descriptive

3.Tujuan Pembelajaran
• Siswa dapat menulis teks berbentuk descriptive dengan akurat, lancer dan berterima

4.Indikator
1. Mengidentifikasi langkah-langkah retorika dalam teks descriptive
( identification, descriptions)
2. Menyusun kalimat menggunakan pola present tense
3. Menyusun kalimat menggunakan adjective
4. Menulis teks berbentuk descriptive

5. Aspek/Skill : Writing

6. Alokasi Waktu : 2 x 45 menit

7. Materi Pokok : Teks descriptive

Borobudur Temple

Borobudur temple is one of the most beautiful tourist resorts in Indonesia. It is located in central Java. Borobudur temple is one of the seven wonders of the world which needs to be preserved its circumstances. The people all over the world know that Borobudur is one of the greatest art works that ever known since long times ago.
Borobudur temple was built by Syailendra Dynasty during the eight century. It needed more than two millions river stones. It is the biggest temple in the world.
After going into some restorations, Borobudur is visited by more and more tourists, both domestic and foreign tourists. Most of them admire Borobudur temple because of its beauty, its elegance, and the story of the relief on its wall.
Domestic tourists usually go there by bus or private cars, while foreign tourists like to join travel bureau because they don’t need to think of the transportation, accommodation, and itinerary. There are some money changers around the location. It makes easier to change their money. But some of them like to bring credit cards and checks.

Pendahuluan
1. menyiapkan bahan dan alat pembelajaran
2. Memberikan salam kepada siswa
3. Memeriksa kehadiran siswa ( mengabsen, menanyakan siapa yang tidak hadir, dst)
4. Melakukan appersepsi
Guru menanyakan beberapa pertanyaan yang bisa membuat siswa termotivasi untuk memasuki topik yang dipelajari

10. LANGKAH-LANGKAH PEMBELAJARAN

A. Presentation
1. Guru menunjukkan gambar salah satu obyek wisata kemudian siswa diminta mnebak dan memberikan komentar

2. Guru mempresentasikan model teks berbentuk descriptive dengan semua unsur-unsurnya ( social function, text structure, language features)

o The use of linking verbs
Borobudur temple is one of the seven wonders of the world

o The use of simple present
The people all over the world know that Borobudur is one of the greatest art works

B. Practice
1. Siswa secara berkelompok 2-3 orang mempromosikan seorang temannya yang akan diusulkan menjadi pengurus OSIS, dengan mendiskripsikan kondisi 3 orang calon tersebut.

2. Guru membimbing siswa yang sedang mendiskusikan untuk membuat teks diskriptif

Task 1

Work in group of 2 – 3 students, to make a campaign flyer one your friend who will be nominated to be the chief of Internal School Organization (OSIS)
The following example which can help you .

Susan is a very popular girl among her classmates. She has an easy going personality and she is friendly and understanding. Although she has a lot of ideas and opinions of her oen, she always listens to the other people’s point of view and never tries to force her opinion on the other people.

Task 2
Report your work by writing on the white board ( one your discussion members)

C. Production

Task 1
Guru menyuruh siswa secara iondividu memilih gambar orang, barang atau tempat tertentu yang telah merka kenal untuk didiskripsikan dalam bentuk tulisan teks berbentuk descriptive.

Task 2
Guru mengumpulkan pekerjaan siswa

11. KEGIATAN PENUTUP
Sebelum mengakhiri pembelajaran guru:
1. Memberikan penguatan materi yang baru saja dibahas
2. Menanyakan kesulitan yang masih dihadapi oleh siswa
3. Menyimpulkan bersama-bersama dengan siswa materi ayng telah dibahas
4. Menutup kegiatan
